I am so excited to share the final leg of our Pacific Journey on the blog today! I have never experienced a place quite like New Zealand and I’m not sure that any country in the world will ever steal my heart the same way!
 NORTH ISLAND >>  Auckland + Piha Beach + The Coromandel
We started our journey on the North Island and stayed in downtown Auckland in a trendy young area called Britomart! Nestled right along the port, this portion of the city is filled with amazing restaurants and cafes. During the day, we would take long day trips along the coast and visited some truly amazing spots like The Coromandel, Cathedral Cove, and Piha Beach! The beaches on North Island are literally some of the most beautiful beaches that I’ve ever see!
 SOUTH ISLAND >>  Queenstown, New Zealand
After Auckland and North Island, we traveled to the Adventure Capital of the World – Queenstown, New Zealand. And I will never forget how it felt to fly over the mountains until they gave way to a gorgeous lake surrounded by historic streets and the bustle of daily life. This city is truly one of the most majestic places in the world!
During our stay on South Island, we made a very long day trip out to Milford Sound and it left me wishing we had brought a tent to camp overnight. There were dozens of streams, waterfalls, rapids, and even a glacier! Everything about this part of the country took my breath away.
What a beautiful country. I especially love the one with a pool from above. BTW: Did you went on a bungee-jumping?
New Zealand has always been on my ‘bucket list’ and your travel pictures make me want to right now! And I’m with Neza, did you go bungee-jumping? I will need to see those images too. 🙂
