I believe in using my talents, resources, and platform to support causes and organizations that are making this world a better and kinder place. My hope is that as your business grows, so does your impact on this world. Together, we are able to do extraordinary things.
Impactful Organizations + Unforgettable Moments
As shutdowns to contain the spread of the coronavirus took place across the country in the spring of 2020, independent business owners faced the greatest threat to their livelihoods in modern history. The Freelancers Relief Fund offered financial assistance to cover lost income and essential expenses not covered by government relief programs. To raise money for these grants, I partnered with Katie Hart, designer at Odd Daughter, to collaborate on the first ‘Long Live Small Business’ shirt. All profit from the sale of these shirts was donated and we were able to quickly raise $10,000 to help business owners in need.
In April of 2019, our team partnered with Pencils of Promise and the Thong Tai community in Laos to build a three-classroom school serving hundreds of students. This $50,000 project was funded by donations from our Rising Tide Society community as part of an online educational summit for business owners.
In November 2016, I flew to Orlando to pack 20,000 meals for families in need alongside our Rising Tide Chapter. This was the kickoff of our Philanthropy Month campaign that initiated over 100 philanthropic service events around the United States led by independent business owners in their local communities.
In April 2021, I took to the water and volunteered as a photographer for Chesapeake Regional Accessible Boating or CRAB — a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, dedicated to bringing the thrill, freedom and therapeutic benefits of sailing to people with disabilities.

In June of 2021, I co-hosted the Annapolis Race for the Family to raise money for the Tinina Q. Cade Foundation, Inc. alongside my friend and fellow infertility warrior, Kristin Gulitz of Hapa Homecooking. This was my second fundraiser for The Cade Foundation after partnering with Erin of The Happy Brand to create our ‘Good Things Are On the Way’ shirt that helped to fund grants for families going through fertility treatment.
We'll be in touch soon.
