On Saturday, Malarie and Zak tied the knot at Belmont Manor and Historic Park beneath a misty canopy of clouds. Armed with clear umbrellas (from the Rainy Day Wedding Kit), these brave newlyweds proved that having the courage to dance in the rain will always pay off! There were so many emotional moments, from the grandfather-daughter first look to the parent dances and beyond. What an incredible day!
You may remember Malarie and Zak from their Patapsco Valley Engagement Session. These two high school sweethearts have been together for over ten years. (TEN YEARS!) Love stories like this Malarie & Zak’s tug at my heart strings because I am also married to my high school sweetheart.  I know what it takes to grow up together, commit to one another during times of immense life-change, and overcome incredible obstacles. Malarie and Zak have done exactly that. They are a truly inspiring couple that I’m honored to have gotten the opportunity to photograph.
