On Friday, I flew to Jamaica for Sarah & Mohit’s Wedding at the Secrets Wild Orchid Resort in Montego Bay! As we boarded our first plane, we were quickly told that the entire water system in the plane had frozen while it sat on the runway (oh my goodness!) so we had to wait for Southwest to find us another aircraft… but, praise the Lord, we were on another plane within the hour and on our way to one of my favorite destinations!
I was so lucky to bring one of my primary second shooters, Kate Ann, with me to assist in capturing the day! We had such an extraordinary time getting to know both families and I teared up when I realized that Sarah sat Kate and I at her parent’s table for dinner… (Ah! I still cannot believe this!) It was truly one of the most incredible honors I’ve ever experienced!

Mohit & Sarah’s Wedding
After getting to know these two at their Baltimore Engagement Session last year, I had a feeling that their American-Indian Fusion Wedding was going to take my breath away! And from the very first bridal detail to the final twirl on the dance floor – Everything about Sarah & Mohit’s Wedding Day was perfect! I can’t wait to tell you even more about these two and their extraordinary hospitality on Wednesday! For now, a little sneak peek should help to hold you over!

And for all of the Photographers + Creatives out there – Be sure to sign up for The Newsletter because I will be announcing dates for our open coffee work-sessions beginning in March! I’ve lovingly named them “Creative Cafes” and will be sharing more details through the Newsletter soon!
