The Birthday Girl’s Weekend Wrap-up

Judging by the title of today’s post, you already know that I’m turning twenty-four on Wednesday and in the middle of wedding season… it would be easier for me to skip the whole celebration this year, but Huey is putting together a sweet little family barbecue to help me relax + take a moment to enjoy the big day! He is seriously the best husband ever!

The past few days have been absolutely amazing! From an Engagement Shoot in Baltimore to a Mentoring Session with two Bostonians & Boudoir Besties, and ending with a gorgeous Greek Wedding – I am feeling overwhelmed with gratitude! Even with rain (and lots of it) I’m continuing to master those Seattle-like skies and drizzly conditions to create some of my favorite new images! Ah!

Jennifer & Kevin’s Engagement Session

These sweethearts are absolutely perfect together! We braved the rainy forecast for some truly gorgeous portraits in Harbor East, Fells Point, and Federal Hill last week! Aren’t they the cutest? And I also fell in love with their sweet pup, Charlie! Oh my!

Annmarie & Jessica’s Mentoring Session

This enthusiastic little duo flew down from Boston on Friday to kickoff their Mid-Atlantic Weekend with a Mentoring Session! I simply adore these girls and their genuine hearts! They are truly two of the kindest souls you’d ever meet AND they have this brilliant drive to succeed in their businesses. It was the perfect way to kick off my weekend!

Anna & Brad | Greek Orthodox Wedding

Another wedding that proves why rainy day weddings don’t need to worry you when it comes to photography! All you need is an amazing couple (check!), a photographer who is up for anything (check!) and a big umbrella for said photographer to stand under (check!) – The rest turns out pretty darn beautifully!

Get ready to see more of these sweethearts later on this week! They are truly an incredible couple and their wedding was filled with emotion, happiness, and gorgeous details! Ahh!

And a Few More Updates:

1) *SPOILER ALERT* – There will be an official announcement coming tomorrow morning for The Bayside Workshop and we are incredibly excited! If you’re interested in attending our second event, stay tuned and check in early tomorrow morning for your chance to register!

What you can expect? Another Workshop styled by the very talented Kruse and Vieira Events, an exclusive chat with Style Me Pretty on Getting Published (yes, you read that right! SMP! Ahh!), presentations galore, a spectacular Styled Shoot,  candlelit dinner, & the opportunity to join our Workshop Community that lives on long after the event!

2) Towards the end of the season, my team has added a ROADTRIP to Charleston for the extended November 21st – 23rd weekend! Maddie, Kate, and I will be zipping our way down the East Coast and stopping in cities along the way! If you’re interested in meeting along our journey or having photographs done in Charleston, send me an email!

3) I just hit the 25 Weddings booked for 2015 mark… Which means that I will be accepting a VERY limited number of remaining weddings for next year! And with a few of those weddings already scheduled for locations like Jamaica & New Hampshire, I would love to add a more incredible destinations to the list! If you’re getting married somewhere fabulous – be sure to let me know! I love, love, love to travel!
