The Bayside Workshop

I am doing a very happy dance around the office right now because Krista & I are announcing something very special this morning! In November, we will be hosting our second Workshop at the Aspen Wye River on Maryland’s Eastern Shore!

We are so unbelievably excited to put together another amazing day filled with learning + all things photography! After our first collaborative workshop a few weeks ago, it became incredibly apparent how much we enjoyed meeting new photographers, sharing our knowledge, and creating a community together! I can’t believe we’re getting a second opportunity to do just that!

What you can expect:

An Amazing Workshop styled by the very talented Caitlin & Julie of Kruse and Vieira Events, a full day of Presentations on topics ranging from Branding to SEO Strategy, an exclusive virtual chat with Style Me Pretty on Tips for Getting Published, a Live Workflow Demonstration with yours truly (culling, editing, & exporting! the works!), Behind the Scenes Access to our Client Experience, a Spectacular Styled Shoot, a candlelit dinner, & the opportunity to join our Workshop Community that lives on long after the event!

During the Styled Shoot, I’ll be covering how I interact with my couples to capture genuine reactions and convey intimate emotion. I will also walk through a few of my tips + tricks for posing, including three ways to easily photograph a bride with a veil!  Krista will be showcasing ways to compose details and create publication-worthy images at our “Detail Bar” – Where each of the attendees will have their choice of jewelry & accessories to style beside the gorgeous invitation suite!

We were so incredibly blessed to have a phenomenal group of photographers join us for the first workshop and I can’t wait to see who will be spending the day with us this autumn! I absolutely love the community that we’re creating and I hope to welcome some new faces to the group! We’ll also be taking advantage of the cooler temperatures and the overall aesthetic will feature a more romantic and rustic tone! Think hot apple cider and cozy throws! Ah!
