Weekend Wrap-up

I may need to start calling these posts my “Weekly Wrap-ups” because so much of the content pours over from Thursdays and Fridays – but for now, I’ll keep with tradition! It was an amazing week with a styled shoot, intern portraits, editing, a Rehoboth Beach Engagement Session, and a lot of relaxation with my love! And since yesterday was Memorial Day, I’m sharing today’s post a day later than usual (forgive me!) and there is so much that I’m going to sharing with you all on the blog this week!

 Styled Shoot for Hello Love Events

Last week, I photographed a gorgeous styled shoot for Lacoya of Hello Love Events at the Hayes Home on the Magothy River! When she emailed me a few months ago about doing a shoot together, I was so excited to line it up with the week I would have my sweet Severn School + Indian Creek Interns so that they could experience how much work goes into an editorial shoot!

PS – The photographs above aren’t actually from the shoot, but rather a quick 5-min portrait session with our model on the beach (in a different gown) afterwards! We’re hoping to get the shoot published and will share more photographs later on!

The Week of the Interns

For the past two weeks, I’ve been hosting three sweet high school seniors to show them a little glimpse of the photography industry! Annie, Elizabeth, and Belle have been running all over Annapolis – gifting vendors, doing scavenger hunts, packaging boxes in the office, creating Bayside Bride DIYs, and even modeling for me at their Mini-Senior Session! This is my second year in a row taking on high school interns for two weeks and I absolutely love having them in the office!

On Saturday, Huey and I zipped to the shore for a quiet weekend on Sunset Island to celebrate our One Year Anniversary! After ten weddings in a row, this was our first weekend together since March! It made me realize how much I miss seeing my husband during wedding season… and I’m going to have to work on scheduling out more time off that we can spend together!

Adriana & Kevin’s Engagement Session | Rehoboth Beach

Last night, I met Adriana & Kevin in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware for their Engagement Session! These two sweethearts have been together for TEN YEARS (Yes, you heard that right!) – And they can’t wait to tie the knot next year in Annapolis! You’re going to fall in love with these two on the blog later on this week!
