I have always loved spring and the gorgeous weather and fresh blossoms that comes with it! Every year I try to take a moment in the spring to get out and photograph just for the love of it. Two weeks ago, I took advantage of the peak blossoms on our property and captured a few frames.
As much as I love photographing people, there is something very peaceful and reflective about photographing in nature. It’s one of my favorite ways to find comfort in this sometimes chaotic world.
Picking up my camera and spending a few moments in the sunshine is the exactly what I needed after a long winter.
And what Monday Musings post would it be without a quote or a few inspirational words… I stumbled across this little passage about spring and it inspired me! I hope you also enjoy it –
“It is a very beautiful day. The woman looks around and thinks: ‘there cannot ever have been a spring more beautiful than this. I did not know until now that clouds could be like this. I did not know that the sky is the sea and that clouds are the souls of happy ships, sunk long ago. I did not know that the wind could be tender, like hands as they caress – what did I know – until now?† – Unica Zürn
