Last week was crazy busy. Like, can’t catch my breath – nonstop insanity, busy. And I don’t know what I would have done without my two sweet interns that are shadowing me for another few days! They have been keeping busy in the office and around the city helping me with so many things!
On Thursday, we spent the early afternoon at Krista’s house putting together new DIY projects for Bayside Bride. We all had a good time creating summer content over the kitchen table! And I know that you are going to absolutely LOVE these upcoming features! They are so cute!
And then we headed out to the garden… I went home with an entire bag of fresh spinach and lettuces. Best salad ever.
Friday was a long day of editing, emailing, pre-blogging, cleaning gear, charging batteries and getting everything ready for the busy weekend ahead! Thank goodness for my sweet husband Hugh who helped me get everything done on time… Weeks like these remind me of how lucky I am to have him in my life! He is a constant source of “zen” for me! (And did I mention that it’s our One Year Anniversary this weekend? Time flies!) It feels like just yesterday that we were walking down the aisle surrounded by our friends and family.
You may remember these high school sweethearts from their Romantic Beach Engagement session last year! Well, on Saturday – I had an amazing day photographing their wedding from sunrise through sunset! My earliest (and longest) wedding of the season was filled with laughter, tears, and more joy than I could ever express in words! Chris and Lauren are an absolutely incredible couple! I’m so excited for these two and can’t wait to share more from their special day on the blog, Wednesday!
Maddie grabbed this quick shot of us at the end of the day – Ahh! Love it!
Yesterday, I took a one hour road trip south to a gorgeous private estate on the Patuxent River to photograph Kirsten & Jesse’s Engagement Session! We spent two hours running around Jesse’s Family’s gorgeous property… soaking up every little minute of sunlight! I absolutely ADORE these two and their cute preppy style! Everything about this session was simply breathtaking… Absolutely everything!
I can’t wait to share more from this shoot with you on Thursday… And I’m even more excited to be photographing their wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club this summer!
PS – Ten Weddings down. Twenty-two more to go. This year is flying by!
