Last week, I met Samantha and Jake for a Destination Engagement Session in the gorgeous metropolis of Chicago, Illinois! These college sweethearts are planning to tie the knot in Samantha’s summer hometown of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. It’s where the pair had their first date, where Samantha taught Jake to sail, and where they fell completely and undeniably in love.
We chose Chicago for their engagement session because it has a lot of significance! Jake proposed to Samantha at the top of the tallest building in Chicago – all alone above the twinkling city and across the skyline from where her parents also got engaged. I absolutely loved exploring this city and getting to know these two better!

Oh yes! The is very Chicago! I’ve only been once but you def captured the feel of the city. I LOVE the plants and trees and how you captured everything. I think my favorite set is the one with her in the navy dress with the yellow tree in the background. Gorgeous!
