On Friday, I drove out to National Harbor just outside of Washington, DC to photograph a day that Terence had been planning for months. He had known for a very long time that Deeanna was “the one” and after six years of dating – he bought a ring, asked her parents’ blessing, made a plan, and got down on one knee!
Surrounded by their closest family and friends on the pier at National Harbor, Terence asked Deeanna to be his wife! Everyone cheered when she said yes! It was such a joyous moment and I am so honored to have been able to capture this special day in their lives!

I love that he put so much thought into his proposal and got so many loved ones involved. She will forever hold this memory and pictures, so close to her heart. Natalie, you captured this surprise proposal spectacularly. Beautiful work, as always.
