This poor little blog was neglected last week as I took a few days off from work to relax and had my first weekend without a wedding since May! Where should we begin? Lets rewind eight days or so to last Saturday when my friend Krista and I drove down to Ocean City, Maryland for a quiet weekend at the beach. The next day, a few of my sweet girlfriends surprised me by making the trip from as far as Charleston, Philadelphia, and Richmond to help me celebrate my birthday a week early! It was the sweetest celebration and a day I will never forget!
When we got home from the beach last week, I celebrated the launch of the Clickspark + Mozell Studio in Baltimore and it was so fun to reconnect with industry friends as they started on a new journey! It also made me wonder what it would be like to have a nautical studio space of my very own… Ah! A girl can dream, right?!
Fast forward to last weekend when I had an amazing mentoring session, photographed a USNA Wedding, and made a trip all the way down to Tighlman Island for a magical engagement session by the Bay! It was a blast!
On Saturday, I had the great honor and privilege of photographing Samantha and Tyler’s Wedding at the United States Naval Academy Chapel! From the hand-crafted details to the sweet ceremony under the Navy dome, to sunset portraits on the Bayside… I truly couldn’t have dreamt up a more perfect day! I can’t wait to share more with you on the blog this week! Congratulations Sam + Tyler!
On Sunday, I zipped over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and down the Eastern Shore to photograph Anne Marie & Jon’s Engagement Session at the spot where he proposed on Tighlman Island! I have never driven farther than St. Michaels and it was incredible to see how much beauty existed another fifteen miles down the road! This session is going to knock your socks off! Get ready for it!
Look Forward To Thursday!
It’s my 25th Birthday and I have a fun surprise in store for all of you!
