On Saturday, I photographed Kerry & Astin’s Wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club on a perfect August day! We started the afternoon at a gorgeous little house in Stevensville before heading to St. Peter the Apostle Church in Queenstown for a Catholic Ceremony to document the marriage of these newlyweds.
Kerry spent many summers in Fenwick Island at her family’s beach house so celebrating their wedding in the shadow of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge is symbolic as it connects the two places – Washington, DC and the beach – where Kerry has made her childhood memories to where she now lives + works as an adult. You could see how much time and effort both Kerry and Astin put into every little detail of the big day. From gold dipped starfish to vintage map table numbers and a sand dollar escort card table! There were so many gorgeous glimmers of their personality and love story incorporated throughout the reception!
