Last week, immediately after photographing Jordan + Nick’s Sherwood Forest Wedding, I hopped on a plane to join my in-laws for a family vacation in the Virgin Islands! I’m a notorious lover of tropical travel and beauty destinations, but I’m not quite sure I fully prepared myself for how spectacular this little band of islands truly is. Believe me when I say that St. John, Tortola, and Jost Van Dyke captivated my heart in a way that no place ever has… So remote, untouched, and full of life, I felt completely at home in St. John and I nearly cried as I boarded the ferry on my trek home!
When I came home last on Thursday evening, I nearly wanted to cry… trading the white sand beaches for a snow storm seemed like a cruel trick. But by Saturday the sun came out and I had the incredible honor of photographing one of the sweetest weddings of the year!
Danielle & Mike’s Wedding | Chesapeake Bay Beach Club
You are going to absolutely adore this wedding! We started the day at the Loews Hotel in Annapolis before making our way over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge for a Beach Club Ceremony and Reception! Add in some teary eyed moments, the cutest flower girls in the world, a giant celebration, and you get the idea! Get ready for Wednesday… I’m so excited to share more with all of you!
Bria & Donald’s Engagement | Eastern Shore
Last night, I zipped over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge to photograph Bria and Donald’s Engagement Session on the Eastern Shore! With a gorgeous pink skirt and a handsome Army uniform – these two looked absolutely incredible! Get ready to see more from their session on Friday!

I am so jeal of that amazing trip to the USVI + BVI! Soooo gorgeous and I’m glad you got to wind down before a busy wedding season!! Can’t wait to see more from the engagement session + wedding… they are all too pretty!
