This weekend, we drove down to Charleston, South Carolina for a weekend of photographing, exploring, and amazing southern food! We stayed right in the heart of the city, photographed a surprise proposal, an engagement session, explored the Farmer’s Market, and fell completely in love with the horse drawn carriages + cobblestone streets!
I’ve been dreaming of returning every since Curtis & Blakely’s Charleston Engagement Pictures earlier this year! So we loaded up Maddie’s car and zipped down I-95 until we hit the Low Country. It was incredible to photograph not one, but TWO, sweet couples during our visit to the South and I can’t wait to return again in March for a Photographer’s Retreat!
Sarah & Ryan’s Engagement | Goucher College
The night before we left for Charleston, I photographed Sarah & Ryan’s Engagement Session at Goucher College in Towson! These two are downright adorable together and I can’t wait to share more on the blog tomorrow!
Megan & John’s Proposal | Charleston Waterfront
We arrived shortly before 3pm on Friday in Charleston and kicked off our weekend with one of the most joyful proposals I’ve ever witnessed. Megan and John took her beloved pup Cooper for a walk before dinner… And little did she know that there was a diamond ring in his pocket! He surprised her by hiring me to capture the entire thing and photograph their engagement pictures afterwards! Ah! I can’t wait to share more of this incredible couple on Wednesday!
Crystal & Will’s Engagement | Charleston + Charles Town Landing
On Saturday, I met with Crystal and Will in downtown Charleston for their Engagement Session! We discoverd so many incredible little spots in town before zipping down the road to a gorgeous park filled with Spanish Moss. Oh my goodness. In the words of a true Southerner… Y’all are in for a treat!

I’ve been dying to go to Charleston, it just looks amazing. I can’t wait to see more from those two sessions, and I love the one from Goucher too! Her hair is beautiful and I love a dude with a beard and man-bun! I can’t wait to see more!
