Every year in October, my blogging calendar gets overly booked out for days, weeks! Which tests my patience because I have some AMAZING love stories + updates to share with you all, and there are simply not enough days in the week to fit them in! Ah! It’s a good problem to have, but a problem nonetheless!
This past week was one of my busiest by far – with shoots all over from the docks of St. Michaels to the fields of Kinder Farm! I also announced that I”ll be speaking at the Creative at Heart Conference in January alongside so many women that I admire!
The Creative at Heart Conference is designed for artists + content creators of all types, from photographers to graphic designers and painters – I can’t wait to meet so many incredible young women and speak on a topic that I believe has dramatically impacted my business. I can’t even express in words how honored I am to participate in such an amazing event… Ahh! It’s a dream come true! Mark your calendars for January 4th & 5th! Bring on the hot cocoa, community building, and business strategy! I can’t wait!
Last week, I met Megan & Tom in St. Michaels for their Engagement Pictures by the Bayside! I seriously cannot express in words how much I absolutely ADORE these two and how much fun I had at their shoot! After days of rain and clouds, it was incredible to finally get a little golden light at sunset! I’ll be sharing more from this session on the blog tomorrow!
Oh goodness. Liz and Cory. This Engagement Session swept me off my feet in ways I didn’t know were possible. I adore these two and their beautiful love story… And I can’t help but get all giddy thinking about their wedding at the Naval Academy this spring! Cory is a graduate of USNA who is still serving our country nearly ten years later and Liz is the brilliant young woman who took a chance to leave her beloved New York behind for the opportunity to find ‘forever’ with her soul mate. I can’t wait to share more from this shoot on Thursday!
I remember when I first met Dana in my freshman year of college and when the email popped into my inbox with her name – a smile immediately spread its way across my face! This sweet girl is truly one of the most kind + compassionate people I’ve ever known and to see her engaged to her best friend… ahh! It’s just perfect! On Friday, I photographed Dana & Ryan’s Engagement Session at Kinder Farm and this Friday – they will be taking center stage on the blog! I can’t wait to share more!
Amanda and Jacob’s Wedding was incredible! You may remember these newlyweds from their Annapolis Engagement Session in February and on Saturday, they tied the knot in a spectacular ceremony in St. Michaels, Maryland. Everything about this wedding took my breath away: the bride, her dress, the details, and most importantly… the love this couple shares! Get ready for an incredible ‘Wedding Wednesday’ here on the blog. You’re in for a treat!
Yesterday, I drove up near the Pennsylvania line to meet with Katelyn and Mark for their Engagement Session at Prettyboy Reservoir! On a cliff overlooking the water, Mark proposed to Katelyn months ago… and it was the perfect spot to capture their love story and the hidden little overlook that changed their lives forever! I can’t wait to share more of these two on the blog next week!
