I have to start today’s Weekend Wrap-up on the right foot… With a very special message to my hubby…Â Happy Birthday, Huey!
Today is my husband’s 25th birthday! And I honestly cannot believe that Huey is turning twenty-five! It feels like just yesterday that we met on the crew team when we were fifteen… It’s crazy how fast ten years can fly by when you’re in love and attempting to conquer the world. We spent yesterday afternoon with my dear friend Annamarie Akins having our pictures taken at my in-law’s house (where we tied the knot a year and a half ago)! Running around in our cozy flannel shirts with the pups, it truly felt like a perfect day! Ahh! Autumn is here and I wish it could last forever!
On Friday, we traveled up to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to photograph Rachel and Austin’s Wedding! You may remember this super cute couple from their Engagement Session in Baltimore last year. Surrounded by the historic industrial brick buildings of the Cork Factory Hotel – these best friends tied the knot in a ceremony that was candle lit and beautifully intimate. Everything about this wedding was genuine to Rachel & Austin’s relationship. It was truly the perfect day! I can’t wait to share more on the blog this Wednesday!
Early on Saturday morning, Maddie and I zipped down the road from Lancaster to an outdoor sanctuary that I’ve been hearing about for years! Amidst the rain drops and umbrellas, we found our way to a gorgeous indoor Conservatory where we photographed the first half of their session while we waited for the storm clouds to clear… As soon as the rain turned to a mist – we jumped at the opportunity to run around the property and capture some of my favorite images to date! Ahh! I simply LOVE these two and their incredibly positive attitudes! They are truly one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever photographed! I can’t wait to share more from this romantic rainy day shoot tomorrow!
These High School Sweethearts have been separated across the country while Donnie is stationed in the military and Nicole finishes her degree! On Saturday evening, after a weekend in Pennsylvania, we met in Annapolis for a romantic engagement session on the streets of my favorite historic town! I can’t even express in words how much fun we had at their shoot! We laughed our way around State Circle, exchanged stories down Maryland Avenue, and finally danced our way onto the banks of the Severn River before ending on the beach! Get ready for a full post on Thursday! The countdown begins!
