This weekend was the first that officially felt like fall! A chill in the air, the trees just starting to turn, and gorgeous weather in the afternoons! It was truly an incredible few days! I started the weekend with Deanna & Matt’s Engagement Session in downtown Annapolis, spent Saturday with Emily & Stephen at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, and ended on Sunday with home renovations + DIYs in preparation for a special little upcoming feature next month! (Ah! Dying to share more on that soon!)
And in just a few days, I’ll be headed up to Pennsylvania for a wedding + engagement session before zipping back to celebrate Huey’s Birthday with a portrait session of our very own! Hopefully the trees will be showing us even more color in the next few days! This is truly my favorite time of year!

Deanna and Matt are truly an extraordinary couple! Matt is an officer in the Navy and Deanna is a news anchor based in Virginia! Add in their adorable golden retriever puppy, Murphy, and you have an engagement session for the record books! I can’t wait to share more of these two on the blog – Thursday!
Emily & Stephen’s Wedding | Chesapeake Bay Beach Club
On Saturday morning, we woke up to rain drops and storm clouds that quickly gave way into a gorgeous evening by the Chesapeake! Emily and Stephen tied the knot in an absolutely beautiful ceremony overlooking the setting sun and the Bay Bridge! I can’t even express in words how incredible this entire wedding day was! I simply adore these two!
And Saturday marked my 28th Wedding of the Year (wow!), with four more to go from Pennsylvania to Jamaica before December’s through! Add in a two week trip to Europe, a dozen or so portrait sessions, and a Workshop… and it’s easy to say that things won’t be slow around here for a while!
