I’m not even sure where to begin on this busy Monday morning… If this were a real conversation, we would proceed to swap stories and laugh at the quirky little details of our weekends that made the puzzle pieces fit. Those nuances that we often fail to mention, yet crave to remember when the days fly past and the hours disappear just as swiftly as the sweet scent of coffee in the morning.
Like the feeling of resting your tired feet on the dash as your friend drives you home after an eight hour wedding, culling your favorite images, singing country music, and watching fireworks over the hillsides in Frederick. Or how waking up early the following day for crepes by the Bayside and farmer’s market blackberries helps to make your hard work feel so beautifully worth it. By the end of July, my days feel more like dizzying moments of happiness… and that’s quite alright with me!
Last week, I hosted my very first Shoot and Share Meet-up with Caroline at my home in Arnold! I was so blessed to have so many inspiring young women come out to visit! We swapped stories, shared a few laughs, and nibbled on goat cheese & brie (yum!). I have to admit that I was a bit nervous to host my first Meet-up, but I’m over the moon with how well it went! We are hoping to grow this community in the weeks and months to come!
If you’re a Shoot and Share Photographer from the general Baltimore Region (we have a few members from as far as York & Lancaster, PA) – – Be sure to join the group for future gatherings!
Rachel & Alicia’s Sister Shoot
I also had the incredible privilege of photographing Rachel & Alicia’s Portraits last week by the water in Annapolis! These two girls are so sweet and down to earth, IÂ absolutely loved spending the evening with them! And… Did I forget to mention that they are both drop dead gorgeous!? Seriously!
Jodie & Nick’s Engagement | Sherwood Forest
These two sweethearts met in Prague during the 10th grade when their families moved from the United States! They now live in North Dakota and as if their love story wasn’t intriguing enough already… They are planning a heartfelt wedding at one of my favorite Annapolis communities (Sherwood Forest!) for early next year! You’re going to love Jodie & Nick!
Amanda & Josh’s Wedding | Stone Manor Country Club
Just when I thought my weekend couldn’t get any better… I traveled to Frederick on Saturday to document the wedding day of two truly extraordinary people! Amanda and Josh married beside a historic manor house, surrounded by their closest family and friends on a perfect summer day. From the handmade details to their sweet vows to one another – I still cannot believe how incredible this wedding was! Can’t wait to share more with you all on Wednesday!
