This weekend marked my first wedding of the year and the start of spring wedding season! After a few weeks since my last wedding in December, I’ve been excitedly awaiting the start of my busiest year yet! I am so excited to document wedding days from Annapolis to Jamaica in 2014 – and it all started on Saturday!

I absolutely and whole-heartedly love being a wedding photographer. Every weekend I have the honor of capturing some of the most precious moments in a person’s life. And amidst the shimmer of details and rush of traditions, I experience the emotion and vows of commitment focussed on creating a marriage more beautiful than any wedding day could ever be. And this fills my heart with joy!
This weekend I had the incredible privilege of photographing Annabelle & Scott’s Wedding at the Baltimore Museum of Industry! I can’t wait to share this gorgeous day with all of you on the blog this week – For now, just a little sneak peek to hold you over!
And this was my first attempt at night portraits in the rain! I can’t wait to show you more and I’m so grateful that Annabelle & Scott trusted me to create something truly beautiful on a cold rainy evening! Running out in the rain? So very worth it!

these are so beautiful, natalie! it rained on both weddings this weekend in VA too! the rain needs to go away haha. but, girl, you rocked it out with the rain! 🙂

Beautiful, as always! I’m usually not a fan of nighttime portraits, but you are making me believe it’s moreso due to technique because these are breathtaking!!!! 🙂
