The city of Santa Fe has always held a very special place in my heart. A vibrant little city filled with art, culture, and mountain skies – I’ve been traveling to New Mexico ever since I was a teenager and it always fills me with overwhelming creative inspiration.
Last week – I had the amazing opportunity to meet with the Santa Fe Wedding Planner, Jessie Baca, Â photograph Ed Larson’s famous studio on Canyon Road, and capture the mountain-scape for a small behind the scenes project that I’ve been working on! I hiked, climbed, and soaked up every ounce of fresh air that I could before returning home to a snow covered Maryland. It was non-stop work… but I loved every second!
I can’t wait to return to New Mexico! It’s one of my favorite places on earth!
If you ever get a chance to visit Santa Fe, I highly recommend grabbing a drink at The Teahouse and having a green chile cheeseburger at Shake Foundation with a milkshake made with milk from the cows in Taos. (Amazing!) And for photographers… plan to enjoy every sunrise and sunset like you’ve never experienced before. The sky is so much bigger out west and the mountains create a constant backdrop of breathtaking beauty.

Nat, you are so cute! Love your selfie-attempt! That place is stunning!! I love all the photos!! I think you need a travel wall in your house for all these shots!!
Xoxo!
I have never been to New Mexico but the way you’ve captured it is so beautiful! I’d love to visit someday 🙂
I love the west coast so much…and this is making me want to go live there immediately!!
Love this post! My husband was stationed in Arizona and all of the landscape reminds me of our time out there. Looked like a beautiful trip for you!
These are amazing- looks gorgeous!!
Lovely pics! Beautiful area!
Looks like quite the unique and breathtaking landscape! Guess I’ll have to visit it and take it in for myself! And seeing as Ale is STILL obsessed with your philly brunch suggestion, you know I’ll hit up those spots you recommended!
Santa Fe is an incredible place… your photos capture that.
You have a beautiful soul, and a beautiful smile. So happy you got to spend more time in the sun and desert working on things that inspire you!!!! Missing you like crazy <3
