My favorite part about the winter season is the ability to fill weekends with creative shoots and to have the chance to collaborate with vendors & publications that I adore! On Sunday, I teamed up with my good friend Sara Metzger to photograph a glitzy Valentine’s Day Inspired styled shoot on the Magothy River.
We put the entire shoot together in four days. Yes, that’s right… Four days! In part because I wanted to prove a point about the importance of personal work and encourage the sweet girls that I’ve been mentoring to design their own creative shoots in order to play with light, practice posing, and push themselves creatively. Executing a styled shoot is a labor of love and it takes a lot of work. But when you team up with someone whose style you admire and bring vendors on board that you’ve been dying to work with – anything is possible!
