A New House + A Few Sneak Peeks!

As many of you heard… Huey and I became first time homeowners on Halloween! Yay! After weeks of keeping this little secret, we were so excited to share the news with family and friends! With our first house, we finally have a space to call our own AND I’m going to get an actual office!

Amidst the move, I’ve been just as busy photographing portrait sessions and weddings during the last few weeks of this gorgeous autumn foliage! Today I’m highlighting a few sneak peeks of what’s to come and promising to share pictures of the new house soon! There will be a lot of before and after projects going on (painting, flooring, and the like!) – and I can’t wait to share the hard work that goes into making this house our home!

You’re going to fall in love with Carter’s Senior Session! This girl is downright gorgeous and you’re going to love the truly Annapolitan locations we found for her shoot! Think marinas, bay grasses, and a vintage 1930’s boat!

Ellen, Chris, and little Sperry | Chesapeake Beach, Maryland

Ellen and Chris are two of my favorite people! You all may recognize them from their Chesapeake Bay Beach Club Wedding last summer! With the addition of their puppy, Sperry, we knew it was time for another portrait session! And despite the rainy morning conditions, we captured some absolutely amazing images! Love these two!

Laura & Brandon’s Wedding | Chesapeake Bay Beach Club

Oh Hello Gorgeous Wedding! Laura and Brandon tied the knot on Saturday overlooking the Chesapeake Bay at the Beach Club on Maryland’s Eastern Shore! With a vibrant yellow and elegant grey color palette – I absolutely loved seeing Laura’s creative vision come to life! Get excited for more of their big day at the end of the week!

Christine & Ben’s Engagement | Naval Academy

Last night, I met up with Christine and Ben at the United States Naval Academy for their engagement session! I have been excitedly emailing with Christine for months – gearing up for their portrait session! And as we were walking around the yard, Ben showed me a video of their proposal and literally brought me to tears… Talk about an INCREDIBLE couple! You’re going to love them!

And just a reminder that due to the move – I am going to be out of the office today while I move boxes over from the old house and get my desk all set up! We’re hoping that we can get our internet installed today as well (fingers crossed) and I will respond to all emails tomorrow and resume editing the six portrait sessions and three weddings on my current docket! You gotta love the busy season!
