Mike & Laura’s Anniversary Session

Last week, Laura and Mike set up a little makeshift tent on a beautiful summer afternoon. They rested beneath the shade of the trees, flipping through the pages of their hand-bound wedding album, reliving all of the moments after almost a year had passed. It was emotional. It was beautiful. It was real. The past twelve months have brought them even closer together, strengthening their bond as best friends and as husband + wife.

I believe that there is no greater badge of honor for a wedding photographer, than to be trusted to document the visual history of a couple’s life before, during, and after their wedding. To capture not only the big moments that unfold, but the stepping stones of celebration along the way. Photographing Laura and Mike’s Anniversary Session was absolutely incredible! These two have truly touched my life with their genuine and compassionate nature – I’m so blessed to be able to call them my friends!
