On a steamy summer afternoon, I met Maureen and Patrick at their boat on Middle River, just northeast of the Baltimore Harbor. With thunderstorms approaching, we quickly jumped on board and zipped around the little coves and marina’s scattered along the water’s edge.
They brought along their Boston Terrier, Conan, to serve as first mate as we zipped around on the boat. I loved getting to see Maureen and Patrick in their element. Everything about this shoot felt so genuine, like a fun summer afternoon spent on the water with old friends!

Oh Natalie this is just beautiful as always! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the one of them facing away from you on the boat with the little puppy butt sticking out between them. So hilarious and adorable! This makes me miss going out on Middle River with my dad! I used to spend the summer out on the water.
All of the ones that involve the boat – so incredibly beautiful. I mean they all are, but something about the crisp of the white and the colors they are wearing, just beautiful. I had been dying to see more since you instagram-ed a photo earlier this week. So gorgeous!!!
Great shots! I LOVE the black and white one of them behind with the little dog’s butt poking out! 🙂
Gorgeous couple! Beautiful pictures!
love these black and whites – and the one where he is kissing her in the air and her foot is popped! and the last portrait of them where he is kissing her and she’s leaning back into him… HUGE <3
Um wow. Super awesome. You had so many great ideas for the boat! And that dog is too cute.
You’re amazing, that pup is amazing and everything about this is amazing! I LOVE the black and white one of them facing away with just the pup’s tail between them! SO cute!
Gorgeous session! And Conan is such a cutie!
This session is stunning Natalie! Also, I’m obsessed with their dog! 🙂
