On Friday, I had the honor and privilege of photographing Jacki & Kory’s Wedding at the Hotel Monaco Alexandria in Virginia. It was an absolutely spectacular day with summer-like sunshine as we explored the cobblestone streets of this historic town. I absolutely loved this gorgeous wedding – from the deep purple tones to the details to Jacki’s stunning dress… I could shoot this wedding over and over again!
Their Story: This duo met at a concert. Jacki spotted Kory across the room and asked her friend for an introduction. After the concert, the pair kept in touch for a little but it quickly faded. Almost exactly one year later, their paths crossed at a restaurant in Reston Town Center – Jacki was in her hometown for the weekend and Kory happened to be at the same restaurant for a friends birthday and saw her across the room. The pair struck up a conversation… and the rest is history!
