Oh my goodness! Today’s wedding holds an extra special place in my heart! I have known Katelyn since we were children… And there is something so incredibly special about watching someone you have known for so many years marry her soulmate before God, family, and friends!
On Saturday, Katelyn and Mark wed in Annapolis at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with a beautiful reception that followed at the Marriott Waterfront Hotel. The wedding dress and veil were handmade my the mother of the groom and every single detail of this day was planned with care and intention. We ended the evening with dockside portraits just moments before the thunderstorms rolled through… and it was absolutely amazing!
I am so honored to have captured this special time in Katelyn and Mark’s lives! Congratulations newlyweds!

@EmiliaJane – the pearl ring was my grandmothers, it’s been tradition in my family that any of her grandaughters (or women who marry her grandsons) wear her ring. She passed from ALS in 2001. I believe my grandfather gave it to her, not sure of the occasion though….
